Everyday SSH work, in one window

Connect in one click

Pick a server in the tree and press Connect. Address, user and credentials are saved; the environment colour shows everywhere.

Side by side in one tab

One, two, three, four panes or more. With broadcast, one command goes to all of them.

Everything behind Ctrl+K

Find a server and connect, or run an app command, without reaching for the mouse.

Pick up where you left off

Open tabs are remembered when you close Tessera and come back when you start it. Turn it off in Settings if you like.

Encrypted vault

Passwords and SSH keys stay on this PC only, each record encrypted.

Through a jump host

Reach a target through a jump host; the target’s credentials are never offered to the jump host.

The host key comes first

On first connection you approve the fingerprint; if the key changes, the default is not to connect.

Prod asks first

Always before an upload or a delete, and by default before a multi-line paste.

Files over SFTP

Drag and drop from Explorer. Uploads go to a temporary file first; a cancel never damages the file on the server.

Your data stays here

Tessera collects no personal data and sends nothing to XSecure. It reaches GitHub only for updates, and you can turn the check off.

Installed in three steps

  1. DownloadOne file, x64 and ARM64 together.
  2. Pass the warningNo code-signing certificate yet: “More info”, then “Run anyway”.
  3. InstallIt installs for your user; no administrator rights needed.

On Windows 11 with Smart App Control on, unsigned installers may be blocked, and then “Run anyway” does not appear.

Check the file against its SHA256 checksum: Get-FileHash .\Tessera-Setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256

Uninstalling keeps your server tree, vault and settings in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Tessera.
